Due to the peculiarity of the scientific research lines of its members, the territorial Section aims to disseminate late antique studies on a wide spectrum of topics, ranging from political to religious history, from economic to legal and social history. In a strategic perspective of strengthening and disseminating antiquities not only on a academic level, but also more widely culturally, the Section intends to be characterized as an active subject of research and teaching initiatives open to scholars, students and the most cultured public of the territory, starting with the establishment of a Summer School in the name of Santo Mazzarino.
