The Section promotes initiatives that give prominence to some specific fields of research (Law, Greek and Latin Literature, History, Art History), favoring in particular interdisciplinary dialogue, not only to enhance the contribution of Late Antiquity in the dual diachronic and synchronic perspective, but also to identify ideas and suggestions that have found significant and original Fortleben.
This programming will be launched by the day dedicated to Constantine’s legislation in the light of the objectives and methodologies adopted in the research project «For a thematic ‘Atlas’ of the JustinianCode» (PRIN 2022), which will have its official presentation there, with the participation of the scholars involved (over fifty): speaker will be Fabio Botta (PI of PRIN), who will dialogue with the Coordinators of the Local Units, Salvatore Puliatti, Giovanna Coppola, Paolo Ferretti and Iole Fargnoli.
